Jenny was born and raised in Aurora. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Aurora University in 1996. During college, she became acquainted with Deb and the profession of midwifery. Jenny started her career as a registered nurse at Provena Mercy Medical Center's Family Birth Center. She especially enjoyed working closely with Deb and other area midwives, supporting women as they brought their children into the world. In 2004, Jenny received her midwifery certificate from the Frontier School of Midwifery and Family Nursing in Hyden, KY and her Master of Science in Nursing from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. She joined the staff at WomenFirst as a Certified Nurse Midwife in October, 2005. Jenny and her husband, Brian, have four children. With the help of midwifery care, she feels all her birth experiences were extraordinary. She is passionate about providing women with the exceptional birth experience and ongoing health care that they desire and deserve. |
